Talent reward examination for IIT-JEE aspirants

FIITJEE, an institute providing coaching mainly for IIT-JEE examination, will conduct a nationwide ‘Talent Reward Examination’ on October 20 for students from Classes V to XII.
The examination will help students gauge where they stand in competition with other students as they gear up for the Joint Entrance Examination for entrance to India’s top engineering colleges, a news release from FIITJEE said here on Tuesday.
Based on the performance in the exam, students will get to know their Rank Potential Index (RPI) for JEE (Advanced) and Success Potential Index (SPI) for other competitive examinations.
This will help students know their chances of success in securing a seat in the IITs and bridge their gap in the preparation for JEE-2014 and other competitive examinations, the release said. 
The fee for the Talent Reward Examination, to be held in various categories for Classes V to XII, will range from Rs 300 to Rs 600.
The fees can be remitted both offline and online. FIITJEE will provide top ranking students rewards and scholarships and also coaching and hostel fee waivers.
Conducting examinations for students from Class V onwards is aimed at giving them exposure to competitive examinations at an early age and also to boost their performance in the final IIT-JEE exam.
On the basis of their performance in the Talent Reward Examination, students will be given suggestions to plug loopholes in their preparation.
This will enable them to improve their conceptual understanding and analytical ability, according to the release.

The Most Brilliant Students of Kota Ever

Anuj Nagpal(AIR 190):  This guy was the most intelligent person I ever met. In hostel, he was one of the most fun loving guys, he only used to do the assignments of mathematics (only because it was taught to us by the director of the coaching). Though I was not in his hostel but my closest friends were in his hostel and used to tell me all the stuff they did at night. Shubham Tulsiani says This is quite a common practice among institutes so I would like to address the trends too apart from the personal experiences and I'll also write on one aspect the question didn't explicitly ask  - offers  before  JEE Pre-JEE (class 12th) I had a couple of 'offers' - Some people from Akash Institute came over to my place to 'gift' me books to help me prepare for JEE. All I had to do was - guess what - yes, sign a form ! I was amazed at how insistent they were and despite me saying I didnt need the books and wouldn't sign,  they made me keep the books. They then visited / called me about 5 more times to get my signature (until I finally returned the unused books on their last visit and told my hostel guard to not allow them back).
